Congressman Raja Appears on MSNBC to Discuss the War in Ukraine
This week, Congressman Raja joined Ayman Mohyeldin on MSNBC to discuss the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. Responding to the Russian missile strike against the city of Vinnytsya, which killed 24 people including 4-year-old Liza Dmytriyeva, the Congressman said, “It was yet another outrageous, vicious, and savage attack that’s a war crime. I think that this hardens resolve and support of the Ukrainians”. When asked why the war is important to Americans, Congressman Raja told Ayman, “I personally believe that the vast majority of Americans believe that the Ukrainian people are fighting for democracy all over the world, not just in Ukraine, and that we will stick by the Ukrainians through thick and thin, and we will not cave to Putin.”
