Daily Herald Endorsement Completes Clean Sweep of All 3 Chicago-Area Newspaper Endorsements for Raja
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., (October 14, 2016) – The editorial board of the Daily Herald, the largest suburban newspaper in the Chicago area, has “unreservedly” endorsed Raja Krishnamoorthi for Congress, describing him as having a “breadth and depth of experience that his current challenger cannot match.”
The Daily Herald endorsement makes it a clean sweep of Chicago-area newspaper endorsements for Krishnamoorthi following the endorsements earlier this week from the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times.
In its editorial, the Daily Herald praised Raja’s running of “two high-tech companies” and his “boosterism of solar energy.”
The newspaper added that Krishnamoorthi “speaks passionately and knowledgeably on a variety of issues but at the same time is approachable and genial.”
