RAJA KRISHNAMOORTHI TO HOST ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION ON PROTECTING MEDICARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY
SCHAUMBURG, IL.— Max Richtman, President and CEO of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare will join Raja Krishnamoorthi and concerned residents of the 8th Congressional District for a roundtable discussion on how Social Security and Medicare continue to serve as the backbone for the American middle class.
“My parents rely on Social Security and Medicare, so these issues are personal to me,” Raja said. “These programs are sacred promises that we have made to our senior citizens, and I will fight in Congress to protect and help secure them for future generations.”
A lifelong progressive, Raja is running for Congress to stand up for middle class families and fight against attempts by House Republicans to cut Social Security and Medicare that are benefits his parents and millions of other Americans rely on.
