Representatives Krishnamoorthi, Ramirez Rally In Elk Grove

Recently, Congressman Raja joined Congresswoman Delia Ramirez and progressive leaders from across the Northwestern Suburbs at a rally to protect programs like Social Security and Medicare. To Congressman Raja, each of these programs represents a promise our government made to the American people; he’ll fight every day to ensure we keep those promises. At the rally, Congressman Raja told the crowd: “The GOP thinks that nobody’s going to stand up for their Social Security when they go after them,” Krishnamoorthi said at the rally. “We have to hold their feet to the fire and to make sure that every elected official, regardless of party, commits to their promise at the State of the Union to protect our Social Security and Medicare.”
