Congressman Krishnamoorthi Continues Investigtion into Commanders’ Toxic Workplace
Yesterday, Congressman Krishnamoorthi continued his efforts to bring accountability to toxic workplace environments in the NFL when commissioner Roger Goodell appeared before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform. The Congressman pressed Commissioner Goodell over the NFL’s insufficient response to repeated allegations of systemic abuse within the Washington Commanders franchise.
“Commissioner Goodell’s testimony today served as a clear reminder of the NFL’s refusal to provide transparency to those concerned with protecting the League’s employees or to bring accountability to those who have harmed them,” said Congressman Krishnamoorthi.
This investigation is a continuation of the Congressman’s continuing efforts to hold those in power accountable for abuses, from the vaping industry to America’s most popular sport, Raja will not stop fighting for the most vulnerable in society.
